Claire Titelman is an actor, writer and Andy Kaufman Award-nominated comedian based in Los Angeles, recently named one of LA Weekly's “Eight L.A. Artists and Art-World Figures to Watch.”
A longtime roundtable regular on Chelsea Lately, Claire has appeared on New Girl, Parks and Recreation, Wilfred, Veronica Mars and Cold Case, and was part of the ensemble casts for the TruTV pilot Shady Neighbors and Paul Feig’s Girl Coders. She most recently starred in the 2019 independent comedy I've Got Issues, which premiered at the Austin Film Festival and was a New York Times Critic's Pick.
Claire has performed stand-up at top national comedy festivals including Bridgetown and SF SketchFest, and filmed a live stand-up set for Seeso’s The Guest List. Her play In Tubes was produced at HERE Arts in NYC, and her solo show Lemons Are for Emergencies Only received rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Claire’s comedy writing was published in the essay collection True Tales of Lust and Love (Counterpoint Press), and she co-wrote an original series for Warner Bros.'s short-form studio Blue Ribbon. She is currently developing a series based on her autobiographical solo show Filthy, which sold out its residency at experimental L.A. theater Machine Project.
Claire is a graduate of Upright Citizens Brigade and member of the Wet the Hippo collective (Best Comedy nominee at L.A. Fringe Festival), and received her B.A. from Bard College.
